Tim Shelnut having the record at 152.2 in stock 1 is great. But he won NOPI with a score of 156.4 (the 152.2 is the score he backed it up with)
How the hell can I compete with that?!?
For reference.. that's what Lee won the Kingston show with in ADV NW.

Yup... that's a little crazy.
But don't forget.. in idbl.. there are no restrictions for the ammount of deadening you can use. So long as the stock panels still fit, you're legal.
AND.. you're allowed 16v electrical. Even in the stock class. (I'm not a big fan of that one!)

Jordy, you can never give up my friend, it's just so not worth giving up...
Hell, my first year with the Civic I hit a 160 on the OLD meter and got my a$$ handed to me at the Finals, but I didn't give up... I just kept tuning and trying different things until I found the right combination. Every year I'd move up a couple of dB and get a bit louder until I hit what I hit last year.
If I had given up when I came in second from last at the Finals in 2000, I wouldn't have gotten to where I am (which isn't very far - lol) now.
First or last, keep working on it and take a look at what everyone is running at each event you go to. You'll get some ideas and try different things and next thing you know, you'll be hitting those numbers! But, it doesn't happen overnight, you have to be patient...

Tim Shelnut did like a 150.6 last year (on termlab) not sure what that was on the A/C mic, from what he told me anyway, two DD9510's MTX 81000D's under the back seat, about a 5cube box with approximately 160-170square inches of port area, some threaded rod and his port was maybe a bit longer than 20", and bent around the back of the box. but that was last year, who knows about this year, cool guy tho, he was at WF in Nashville, and SBN, and has a really cool sq car if you get the chance to check it out
