Holy crap!! Kicker ISN'T dead!! 10k beast

Not like I'll ever need or be able to afford this power, but check out this Kicker amp. The warhorse. .. Could kicker earn the old rep back??

http://www.audiosavings.com/products/Car-Amplifiers/NEW-KICKER-WARHORSE-07WX10000.1-CAR-AMPLIFIER-WX10000.1/07WX10000.1.aspx

How does this compare to the Sundown/Cactus/ etc SPL amps?

I'd love to see a burp test against a SD8000, this Kicker has an interesting concept that has a trade off for SPL, it cannot clip.

I remember reading a few different reviews on this amplifier, and cannot clip, is this due to the circuitry and having huge caps inside?

Old news.

It amplifies audio signal directly to DVC subwoofers from the patent-pending, signal-modulated power supply, rather than relying on help from amplification circuits found in traditional Class D or Class A/B designs. This results in efficiency ratings unheard of in mobile audio - 90-percent efficiency at a 2-ohm load and 93-percent efficiency at a 4-ohm load at full power.

Four-year design process.

KICKER WX10000.1 Mono Channel Amplifier Specifications:
Mono-Channel Model (at 14.4V)
Power (watts), Signal-Modulated 2 Ohm mono: 10,000 x 1
Dimensions: 3.75" x 17.75" x 35"
Frequency Response (Hz): 20-200, +0/-1dB
Input Sensitivity: 170mV-5V
Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 95dB, a-weighted, re: rated power
Low-Pass Crossover: 24dB/octave, variable 50-200Hz
High-Pass, Subsonic Crossover: 24dB/octave, variable 20-60Hz
KICKEQ Bass Boost: Variable to +18dB, centered at 40Hz
Warhouse Control Module: Available separately
Weight: 67 lbs.
MSRP: $9,999.95

Who the hell can afford that?

two of them for 2 subs!!
I'd love to hear em' thanks for the offer.. if we make it to some shows that you're at, maybe you'll be driving it and I'll ask for a demo.

I guess since i wasn't in the market for a 10k amp, I didn't notice it..
On sale for $3500 though, I'd have to sell my whole stereo to get it. Tempting lol
