if people could be competitive with a sealed box and 2 12" JLs and a 250watt amp then you would see bigger turnouts

hence the ontario SPL league!

 

They should have went with the Mini-Street idea in the rules...That right there would have drawn alot more people in..but they got rid of it after the 4th draft....Bad move in my books...

 

dBdrags has dropped the ball the last 2 years big time. I think that they're going to go the way of the other oragnizations, there will be a following of die hards, but others will find anohter organization to play in.

 

i also think db drag is done. atleast for the small classes.

in canada we are about to see iasca blow up and hopefully the ontario spl league will take off.

 

There is mini street this year and there will be Bass Race. These two classes will help the new guy come into dB Drag.

 

IMO those classes will definatly help!

 

I say, since the world of wheels is coming up, we should have a booth, and a really nice SPL car, as well as some babes there (like Hooter Girls) in tight shirts that read "DB drag racing" or whatever. Just more girls, and beer.... girls too... I think that would help. Just like an import show, lots of fun, new cars, nice cars, trophies for nicest car apperance, etc. Just make it fun, and enjoyable, for everyone, not just the Diehards.
