do your back seats fold down? have you tried facing the subs facing the rear of the car? i find subs in a trunk loudest (in general not all the time) when they are facing the rear of the car and with the box itself as far back towards the rear of the car as possible.

just my 2 cents

It's not that they are 'making fun of your equipment', it's just that people come on here all the time and want to know how hard they are going to hit. There are too many variables involved. If I move my box back 4 inches in my trunk, I loose 3 db. Come out to one of the events, even if it is a point event. There are always a bunch of great guys that will give you pointers and aim you in the right direction. You don't have to take a trophy at every event. Most of the fun is seeing if you are making any improvement.

Wow i'm tired. I sat here for like a minute trying to figure out what analagy meant. I thought you were talking about my a@@ or something.

Sleepy time here I come.

BTW, if only more people looked at events this way. I have been competing on and off for 10 years. If you don't have fun at events and learn from your mistakes, then what's the point in going.
