smoke out of them at all.....the coils are good for 2x the rated RMS
easily
I was dissapointed as well......I did enjoy cooking the JBL Wgti subs
there was a blanket of smoke floating aroung the interior that smelled
like burning bamboo

 

The only decent thing efx makes is power wire.

 

one thing that I can say about EFX is that it might be an entery level gear... but it takes one hell of a kicking ask anyone that heard it when I was running it.

I maneged to get 3rd in the western finals with 2 10 and a 400 watt amp I couldn't believe it. I bagged the hell out of mine. I guess thats why I blew 5 subs lol.
