If I had to guess I would say car running with sit in, either ported through deck lid, or most like no backseat, which I don't find very impressive. With seat in I would because I am pretty sure it don't fold down. But what do I know, I'm new

 

I couldn't believe that he hit that with a single 10 for a SQ sub its not to shabby i would say.... That a fairly high # for a little system... I think it as something to do with the box its in lol

 

for the amount/quality of power and the fact it is an SQ sub in a box tuned to
sound good it isn't to bad at all....

he could always get an SPL sub with a fart box and gain 10db but it would
be pointless in his case...his goal is SQ for daily listening

 

I think meat sauce should have went with a 12 not 10 because I think a single 10 is useless. I ran a single 12 for my first system in a custom built box from justin larouche and it was by far the loudest daily set up I ever had it was running off a 250 watt amp. I really just wanted to know what was all intaled to his number, backseat, running, sit in!!? Because quite honestly the number is easily doable. The number steve hit with his crappy deadwood was in a wrx trunk with car off, no one in car. And I would be shocked if u gained 10 db building a fart box, that's a large gain

 

you are comparing a low tuned SQ set up with a amp
against a higher tuned enclosure on a much better amp in a car that is known
for being a better SPL vehicle

 

Lol show me the proof of better spl vehicle lol ya I would agree if meat sauce had a backseat but he doesn't lol that alone instantly makes his a better spl vehicle in my mind as a wrx has a hole no bigger then about 10x10 inches into the cab of the car. The box is also NOT tuned high it tuned to 42hz the cars resonant freq is just higher. The amp is better cleaner power but still only 500 watt! The sub is still a deadwood. I just wanted some facts about how you got the number as all the facts were laid out about the wrx.
