Am I the only one who thinks that a leather interior would be louder then a cloth one?
Just looking for some thoughts and opinions.

depends...what is leather? and how solid is it? loose stitched leather (back of seat) will flutter and deflect as cloth will allow pressure to pass through it...

I have never seen lose leather on a seat. But because leather doesn't breath like cloth I think it would be a better loading wall. Plus it is a whole lot smoother, equaling less air drag, and better velocities. Am I correct or just dreaming

sorry to burst your bubble but in most vehicles with a leather option it is only the seat fronts that are leather. the seat backs and sides and sometimes even the rear seats are a vinyl dyed to match the leather.

Im guessing it doesnt matter, if there is a difference then im guessing its a very small one.

And leather in the back seats of a GTP asre perforated leather

i ws thinking about that too...in theory, it should be louder because it won't suck up the sound waves...but i don't know how much of a difference it would actually make...

...but i can remember there was this guy at world finals that tried to use plastic seats in his car - he was REALLY pissed when ray and the other judges dq'ed him for trying to use them. i guess they would have been pretty good at raising the spl...
