Leather VS Cloth (SPL Related)

I have never seen lose leather on a seat. But because leather doesn't breath like cloth I think it would be a better loading wall. Plus it is a whole lot smoother, equaling less air drag, and better velocities. Am I correct or just dreaming

i ws thinking about that too...in theory, it should be louder because it won't suck up the sound waves...but i don't know how much of a difference it would actually make...
...but i can remember there was this guy at world finals that tried to use plastic seats in his car - he was REALLY pissed when ray and the other judges dq'ed him for trying to use them. i guess they would have been pretty good at raising the spl...

what your seats are made out of makes no diffrence whatsoever. Unless you have Oak seats! then your spl increases by about 8%. Also you have to have a horizontal air flow of 56knots through the pasenger window to the dash of the vehcile!
