If you have a TFOne you will die fo canceraids....

Best SPL sub I've used is the Beyond Audio Inhuman (with the AB HD being #2)

best SPL sub ive used all in all..was my 9912's and I used the old school triple stacked D motors. I did find that my 9912E sounded a bit cleaner playing music when I played around with each of their enclosures to see where I liked them. However I was louder with kicker solo X 10s. I found the solo Xs not to be as efficient as the DDs on music but could definitely handle the abuse for burps. However the plastic cone is the weak point and I grenaded 6 or 7 of them in total due to a loading issue in my box. Nontheless my solo X setup with 6 10s in street C was louder than my 4 9912s. Same vehicle, same electrical, same amps. Different enclosure obviously.

My favourite sounding daily subs to date were my RE 18HCs.

In the future Ill be trying DC level 4 18s and would really like to play around with a 4HP motor woofer such as the Audiopulse LMS ultra, or SS XXX, or TSNS as I think they would be the ultimate daily woofer if you can get enough power to them. But thats for a walled multibatt setup.

In a trunk I had an 05 RE XXX 12 on 1500w in a 2.2cf3 @ 35hz box and it wanged. I switched it out for two sealed Eclipse SW8200 (12") each getting 375W. Download the song 'Sippin Sizzurp' by Dipset, on the intro after they stop going "yeah!" there is a really low freq before it starts again, that 1 note was louder than my XXX anywhere, it shook the car violently and those subs will take 750W each. I've never had a box tuned around 20hz in a car but it's nice that those subs can do that and still be decent around 40hz. I was told 1.75cf3 = 30hz tune. I want to use 4 of them on 3000W, or two BTL 12's ported.

Ground Zero Audio has subs that say 6500W RMS for their 12", it's also 89db/1w. I'll bet those are the loudest for music. 13000W is too much though.

In my opinion tf ones can't be beat for the price. They hold up really well. I have beat the hell out of subs and they are still taking a beating. The recones are inexpensive. Tf ones can power too. Bart Pyle had 10k clamped on a pair of tf one 18s and they were barely moving. I have almost 8k clamped on three tens in a small box and they take it. Not bad for a sub rated for 1500rms lol
