alright, so i have a PLD1 line driver , just kickin around i haven't installed it yet. i was wondering if it will help my spl at all. i was told they are a nice spl tool, but is it really going to help? i run a set of exile 2400.1's strapped , just to give an idea of my amp power. so just general comments or experiences with line drivers would be a great help.

 

um would help to know what deck u got. but likey its gonna make no diff

 

i have a clarion 955mc , i was told it will help me during usaci competitions when i can't rev to 2000 rpm..i don't compete in db drags often.

 

i used one before and didnt like it at all basicly all it does is boost your signal that goes into your amp = same thing as gain on your amp so u turn one up then end up turning the other one down personaly i think its useless untill u need that .1db with a head scratcher and blow your up but thats just me

 

thanx for the input guys, i'm just questioning to install it or not, i guess i'll throw it in..and just see what happens..that is the way spl works, test and test..so i'll see what happens. i'm not worried about popping my subs..i think they can take a beating..i have a set of treo ssx 12's so i'll beat the **** outta them haha

 

if u decide not to use it i know some1 who wants one.....
