Not a chance its got to be higher, I had a 2 old school 12" IMPPs Gold Core subs in a 1989 Mazda which topped 133 db, and another guy who had 2 12" AudioPipe Candy Series in a pontiac sunfire which hit 142 db.
So either our local sound off has a completely overexadurated db meter or those numbers in my mind at least have got to be way higher then what everyone is saying.
However I can honestly say I have no clue what the top is ranked at.

...This is really funny. You need to check termpro if you want to know results. Loudest in Canada is 147.And yes there is a huge difference between 142 and 147. Believe it or not there's a huge difference between 142 and 144.
are the new 200.1s that much weaker than in past years? just trying to understand the 1/3 drop in power rating, if it isn't simply another AB cheating tactic.
I don't compete in street stock, never will, but this new "rating" sounds rather fishy.....IMO.
