Personally I like easing my way up to the limit......hurrying seems to be what causes people to go over and DQ.

And yes it is a lot of fun for those people who don't have the loudest system on the planet.....

My $0.02 worth.....

im in the fare east,Nova Scotia
i do everything i can to promote the spl scene.i pay money out of pocket for every show, buying trophy's and random give away prizes.
on top of that i have sponsors providing products.last year BestBuy gave us $650 worth of gift cards to give out.
Atomic provided me with standered base model subs for raffle prizes.
and most of the locale shops gave us gift certificates.
im a member of PasMag and i make the most out of that with promoting.
i also use the radio for advertisement of the dates and locations of events.

as allot of us know we do not have the best economy in canada but we still can hold are own.
in 2009 i asked people what would help make the Audio sport better in are province, the most common reply i received was that it would be nice to see some of canada's pro competitors come further east.
Yuli,Perhaps we should speak further about this.

this year ill be hosting a show for BestBuy.i expect to give out approximately $ 600 worth of BestBuy promoted products.
and i am in talks now about having BestBuy do a gaming tent setup at some of are larger shows.

PS,i always go big...

and there has to be SOME return on investment for the shop that sponsors the shows...it can cost several thousand dollars to put on a great event, not to mention all the hours spent organizing it...for example...when was the last time an internet retailer hosted an event...NEVER. but how many of you reading this have bought equipment from the internet....SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RETAILER
