The Pioneer SPL 3000 watt amp is IDENTICAL to a rockford 1501bd (according to rob, he saw it somewhere with pic comparison)

No doubt that Pioneer would take a lot from what they learned from Rockford when they made Scott Owens' vehicle in 2003.

As far as where Pioneer will be when Rockford makes a 15K amplifier? Probably focusing on products that actually WILL SELL!

Would you happen to have internal pics of the Pioneer amp?

I've tried searching for it but noone seems to have any.

I did have a picture of the internals of the PRS-D5000SPL that I took at CES but unfortunately my computers' hard drive failed since then & I lost half my CES pictures.

I'm sure a retailer will do it if you ask them nice enough.

The problem is finding a retailer with one in stock

Shoot a PM to "beamrider". I know he has lifted the bottom plate from an amp before, maybe he took a picture already or could for you?

since i have worked with r.f since 94, i have seen enough of them light up like a christmas tree. they make em fast and cheap now that they go to huge chain stores, now there is nothing wrong with that as they have to meet quotas but to make amps that much faster means something has to go,,,,,,,, quality. remember the "barbaque style amps" bullet proof. sorry there technology is sound and the robots building them are probalby quite freindly but nothing beats r.f. older stuff for reliability. heck they were almost up to orion quality there for a while. and they would drive pretty much any load. as for pioneer, well always been reliable and at a decent price. look if you really want to by a r.f then buy one they are a very good amp. my point is that pioneer makes a fantastic amp that puts out gobs of power is relatively small and dosent break the bank. we will see with time just how reliable they really are. oh and northern spl iam not an idiot.if you feel that strongly about this issue, please call me that to my face not behind the keyboard.be a man not a typest. this whole forum is about opinions, some we like some we dont. everyones opinion should be respected, educated if needed, but respected. now lets go drink some beer is friday night and team canada is 3-0 go red and white go!!!
