So it turns out my alt is not charging at what it use to. I have not tested it yet but for sure its not putting out a full charge anymore. Any options online or GTA on where i should go. I have a 2000 ford explorer with 4.0 sohc. Now it is the limited edition which means stock it comes with a 130
I currently have a 200 amp. Im looking for someting with a bit more beef. thx guys

I hear good things about DC alternators and ohio generator. theres a place at finch and I think brimley that makes alts too, they gave me a 160 for my van. still small, but considering it came with a 90 I'd say its a pretty big increase. I think its called canadian electric or canadian auto electric or something like that. it was pretty decently priced too, verrrrry decent. oh, and it came with a fancy graph to show the output of it. lost it, but it was cool to show off when I first got it.

well 4 18s would not fit with enough port wall. so it got scrapped. Now its the matter of figuring out how to make it all work. the box is 40 cubes and the subs dont like it right now. No pressure build up. sounds good on music but awhh. lots of work ahead of me this year. lol
