So here we have what happened on the sunday of the long weekend. Floor build and install of the seats from late model chevy, Seat belts on the seat not the pillar.Got a start on roof as well. Woulda worked monday but.....

When are you wanting to try and finish this project and is there a number you are going for? Keep up the great work man!
|
when ? I dunno if it ever be done. But want to have it bumpin by first show of season.
Wagered the entry fee to ddking to see who has builds ready. Once the time consuming cage is complete the wood and glass will be a breeze and fast opposed to this nightmare. YOU would never believe that is not one level or square part in this vehicle , and welding to pop can mat;l is never fun with or with out a tig, I would prefer alum welding over this crap! starting to loose incentive to finsh steel fab............ |

So on monday I woke up fine but by after lunch my right eye was watering like bastard and felt like got some flash. put up with it for the day but by after supper had a nap and was not good. Finally went to emerge at 11pm and was out by midnight  first time ever was in out that fast.
apparently a piece of steel or something gots onto the eyeball and imbedded. So they froze the eyeball and had instant relief and then she took a needle and dug it out, then put in some dye and black light and then froze again and then dug out some more,. then was all good.. put in some antibiotic cream and put on the patch. missed next day of work and then was good to go :smokin: |

Well Don, I think the wood part is to be much easier than that of the steel. The problem that will need to be solved is the glass..... I dont want to put in lexan or plexi or what ever. But this will be the limiting factor by far. I am going to guess not much over a 60 before it lets go somewheres :thumbsdow
I am trying to find out what I can and cant do to keep it legal... epsecially with 2 provinces to deal with. I didnt believe you a year ago when i stopped by with it on trailer and you said it will be hard to get loud.... And ya as always your correct. |
