Well searched for answers most of last week as to why the bell housing broke again . To no answer I figured might as well replace the engine mounts and the trans one to clear that , and got a used tranny for couple hundy . Friday night worked on it for 4 hrs and got the motor pulled and the mounts replaced , as turns out the pass side was not good , and the d/side was not much better, But what and ignorant job ... No pics yet . was after the witching hour when left buddy shop and had a job for saturday .

So a young lad with a jimmy was in need of more power , so he come to me for some alts and some batts, as well for the install . So Saturday for 16 hrs we plugged away at it . remove oem alt and a/c , remove his 4ga run of power and pass rear seat . fab up buss bars and batt box. get some hose wrap and wrap the 3 + and 3- runs of zero gauge and route from under hood to bank of batts. Make buss bar for front batt , and then mount idlers and new belt. wire in the added alts. He now went from 120 A to 750 A of alt and from 2-XS Power D3400 to 4 , should be enough to run 4 PH4000MD's for daily on pair of 18"s that dong hand built

Needless to say Had a very bad work hangover on sunday and not much beer was drank , But had to take sunday to be with family ,so tonight should get motor back into the burb and then service the trans and stuff in . hope all goes well and gets back to playing with it . Pretty bad when only got it play last sunday and have not touched since

Will it be ready at Don's show at the end of the month? We won't have nothing ready, but we should be there.

Well got it back together , and couldnt get exhaust leak to stop so put on a set of hooker comp headers , apart from that seems to be working ok, Def shifts alot diff with a stock trans in it . So maybe with new mounts and stock tranny wont see that bell housing issue any more . Do have a driveline vibe at high speeds >120 so will have to reshim the pin angle again.

Had First show last weekend and with out any tuning and tweeking done so far , managed a 157.7 @40 So am happy with that for sure , so much more todo yet and that 60+ can easy be had with the 6K I clamped out of the 1000.1 . Need to get another so can each amp at .5 instead of 1 . Rise is to 1.4 ~ 1.6 .With box shrink when put the angle in it it will increase the rise am sure . So will have to load this one down to .25 and see what happens.

That was Clay and I qualify for our class's , I think that van will have the SS1-2 Record sooner than later this year Freq was 40 this time and not 41 in testing and was over a db louder as well

That is my taking first in bass race after taking out Clay and tyler
Little rusty to say least , but will need practice some more so I feel comfortable and not scared of over shot. the louder it gets the harder it going to be ..........

Them Doors Are going to need Some attention real soon before the metal starts to tear , got some deadener off clay but there is going to be alot more than that required. So have alot of brainstorming ahead of me.

Had some time on my own sunday eve and decided to try to tweek the box a bit by adding around in the back corner. There is still much much work to do in that box to get it tweeked, but the rounding helped alot with port velocity , open windows and shrink the box made some of normal music I listen too hit better. You can see now how the dust is not settle so much in the back wall , but still a bit under the woofers. This is showing where the waves have a cancelation I would say , So more rounding to go yet.

The above pics was taken about 11:20 pm 1/2 mile north of town , and apparently is more violent than last year as I never got complaints , The father inlaw stopped by last night to say I was talk of the town and a few had called the po po , and would be why a few mins after I got home they had drove by up the street and back aahahaha , Had a feeling that was why they in town , so Had to meter it to see what was upto , initial feeling was not louder but do like the change .I hope for a db gain but instead lost one and half , so the note went up to 45 from 40 ,so will need to lenthen the port to get it back down and hope for the #'s to come back up. I would love to see a 60 or close to on the power I have ~ 6kw clamped from the 1000.1 rise to 1.6 . But time will tell, need to get back on TL and see what the diff is there as I seen over a db increase between this meter and one from the show.
