N130Gv2's 92 Grand Marquis build log
I'll toss some cardboard in later so it'll be easier to see the actual shape.
Yes, Yuli, I'll still have some vision out the rear. I've been trying to get use to driving without looking out the back with my van. I just don't like it. SO, some thick *** LEXAN will be going across the middle of the back.

^^^ Thanks & not sure... These seats are decent for now. Power, and lumbar.
The real thing is definitely going to be sick. I think there will be enough of a rear view with that opening.
Time to order the materials now that I know how much I'm going to need.
This frame isn't going to be cheap.

just a lil bit of an idea...i havnt been able to find a price of lexan thicker than 1/2", seems to be special order, but i didn find a price on 2" thick plexi, 2ft by 3 ft (i know, longer than u need, but smallest sheet i could find)
2"x24"x36" Clear Plexiglass Acrylic Sheet Cell Cast Paper Mask
about 530 us....
1/2" lexan
1/2" X 24" X 48" Clear Makrolon Tuffak Lexan Polycarbonate AM
1/2" plexi
Plexiglass Clear Acrylic Sheet Paper Masked 1/2" x 24" x 48"
my guess is the lexans gonna skyrocket in price the thicker it gets....but if u really want/need it i have a plexi shop we deal with and i can see how much itll cost them to get it

O.K. SO PLEXI it is then, lmao... I have a local shop that I use to work for that deals with the stuff on a regular basis (or at least they did years ago). I'll see what they can do for me. I know the business owner. If not, then we'll be in touch. Opening is 1x2. I'd like at least 3/4 - 1" thick.

Then again, nothing about this build will be cheap. It'll all pay off in the end I hope.
