hahaha, naa... All I'd need is like 2" max. Why go thicker than the rest of the enclosure?

i dont think youll need very thick plexi for where the window is then again i could be wrong lol

Well it's right above the port opening, so not sure. It all angles in toward the back, so there will be more turbulence back there.

Have you given any thought to using a camera or two for your rear view?
Looks like you might see a car directly behind you, but there's gonna be a HUGE blindspot to the sides. Add in the rattling eyesballs and you could get granny making a right turn into your side door

Damn Lexan is expensive!! It may be possible to get "used" lexan. A wrecker may have lexan from a Brinks truck or other similar vehicles like limos etc, treated for security with lexan and the like.. or maybe the "plastic" or whatever it is that they wrap around the rink in hockey arenas. Some are glass but I know there is a "plastic" types. Must be other sources also.

I'm still playing with ideas. Just found out yesterday my summer job might be dropping their TPT (summer students) hours from 40+ to 24... so now things are going to get tight. Lets hope for some OT!
