Need help from ALL SPL competitors..
well first as for points at a local shop i wouldnt bother because there is not enough shows in canada for db drags its to hard to earn enough points to get to the finals
So guys break it down for me.. tell me what classes you want.. tell me what prizes you want.. and tell me a reasonable entry fee.. It's starting to seem clear that most people want trophies.. I can do trophies, but the size of them will reflect the entry fee and how many classes we offer.. so give me more input!!

I would say $20-25 entry fee
bigger trophies
add 2 amateur classes for trophies only (no points)
ie. 2-10's 1 amp max 1000 watts and 2-12's 1 amp max 1500 watts.
we can do a 50/50 draw - $5 for 10 tickets.
I will check today with my brother in-law about the t shirts.
Have someone (maybe myself) do an equipment check on vehicles before registration to ensure proper class placement.
I will add more as I think about it.

For us to do bigger trophies I would probably have to charge at least $30 for the entry fee.. and personally I'd like to keep it around $20, but if thats what everyone wants, then I mean we will try our best.. and the biggest problem about trophies is who knows if they will all get used. That and getting the money up front to pay for them. Putting on shows is not cheap as I have found out! lol..
keep the suggestions coming guys!

Once again i ask to get some help from competitors..
To create better shows for you guys I need to know a few things..
1. What is a good entry fee? (Remember, entry fee is proportional to prizes
)
2. What do you want in the way of trophies/prizes?
3. What is a good start time (for a day show and for an evening show)
4. What classes do you think should be offered (for dbdrags and for "local" shows)
5. Anything else I missed that you think we should or shouldn't do.
For myself..
1. $15-$20 (I'd rather it be cheaper and have no prizes, just points though.)
2. I'd personally rather the entry fee be as cheap as possible, and just get my points. Or cash prizes are good too
3. For day shows, 11am-12am registration, show starts at 12am. For night shows registration from 5pm-6pm, show starts at 6pm.
4. Street A, Street B, Street C, Open Street Max, Open Super Street, Extreme for points only.
5. I'd like to see more support from manufacturers. More giveaways and other stuff to make the day more exciting.

2: Cash prizes...$50 for first $20 for second, $10 for third
3: ANYTIME AS LONG AS IT STARTS ON TIME!
4: Street A and B put together, Street C and Street max 3-4 put together, SS 1-2 No Wall and Street max 1-2 put together, and every superstreet vehicle in one class other then no wall and every extreme vehicle in one class. (yes that would only be 5 classes and probobly only 4 if there were no extreme vehicles making cash
prizes alot easier)
5: Shows that start on time and don't take way too long
1. What is a good entry fee? (Remember, entry fee is proportional to prizes )
0 to 20
2. What do you want in the way of trophies/prizes?
tall tre kind that dont fit in your car on the way home
3. What is a good start time (for a day show and for an evening show)
noonish or later, saterday is a sleep in day
4. What classes do you think should be offered (for dbdrags and for "local" shows)
db drag, the street classes, and as needed super street and an open extream
with a lot of locals that arnet very loud, run a mini street say you get 16 streeta entries, take the 8 that dont qualify and put them in a mini street class.
5. Anything else I missed that you think we should or shouldn't do.
prize givaways, like scream offs, sub tosses, ect for the spectators. last year i went to a comp that put every one into super street.. that wast cool
0 to 20
