Does anyone have the needed info on how to mod the HK4000d, Visonik V4000xd, Clif Designs CDX20A ?
The CDX is the model I will be preforming the mod on with the right helping hand.

 

what mod u talking about? the one that keeps the amp from protecting? its nothing internal that u have to do. its on the outside

 

The mod people used to do with the visoniks was removing some resistors wasnt it??

 

I found the info and removed resistors R256,R37,R41,R262.
So far working great!

it will still cut out when u take it in to low ohms. there is one more thing left to do

 

Okay what I miss?

 

I am pretty happy with my CDX20A but am a little worried about voltage drops.
So far I haven't been able to drop lower then 13.5v, and I average 13.9v while driving.
How low a voltage drop can my CDX20A handle before it goes up in smoke?
(12v or so)

 

Anyone on this forum have a CDX20A ?
