New start for the Windstar...

So, I was happy with the 147's with my current box, but was limited on design space and put into a class WAY out of its league. lol

We plan to keep it in bassrace and it WILL BE street C legal , but going to be geared more toward Psychlone.

BIG BOX, BIG PORT, tuned a little lower and HOPEFULLY, a decent number to boot.

i think you'd just be louder by......

1. removing all those crossovers and eq's. those things are bad for spl

2. remove the third row and put the box to either fire forward or back.

haha, your probably right, we'll have to see just how much louder.

1. 3rd row is officially gone man.

2. The eq's and crossovers are only for front stage. They have zero effect on my sub stage.

3. I'm going to fire my old box toward the front first (not expecting great results), then back against hatch just to test before I actually build my new box. I think I'm going to block the current holes and cut subs to fire up and port back, as a final test before building the new box and scraping this one.

Going to be good times man, lol.

Can't wait for help, I'd still be sitting here, lol

Box weighs a tonne though, not sure how I'm going to turn it around and put it back in by myself. Pulling it to where it is took me and both the kids, lol

Yuli, do you really think firing forward WAY back there would gain? Thats pretty far away, but I'm going to try anyway.

i dont know.

i tink the best combo will be if you cut new holes for the subs and fire the up with the port firing back.

put the subs closer towards the rear end (port exit)
