Actually it's only 12" even. I plan to put a layer of deadener on the inside for weight and to reduce friction, and a couple layers of mat on the outside. My neighbor has a whole roll of fiberglass. Like I said, it'll be solid.

look at dave's car, that cardboard is taking 6k rms no problem. no resin, no nothing.

i see it's not very tall.

i still thnk you'd see more of a gain making the box as narrow as possible vs. making it as shallow as possible.
