But then if I shrink it and lose, I have to build another enclosure bigger. lol

I get what your saying... I think I will hit 35hz the hardest around 8-8.5 cubes, but need to be able to shrink the box enough to use a shorter port for comps tuned higher....

Better yet, I think I'm just going to need 2 boxes. Can I place a sheet of MDF on the floor of my van to bolt the box and amps too? Sort of like this?

Then I wouldn't have to mess with the amps, and just switch out boxes...

u also have too keep in mind that your loading will change of the port onto the interior panels of the car and inside the enclosure... you dont want to change those variables or you will constantly be "LOST" looking for the proper frequency in the van

you can always "TRY" to find the transfer function of your vehicle ( yes I know its so old school ) find your peaks and go from there

my thoughts exactly. you would be more lost and do more guessing than actual testing you can rely on for future.

I got some more stuff done today. Took everything out the Windstar, which after just 2 trips out is driving me nuts. I hate having no tunes, lol.

I was trying to make everything fit, plus use some of the above advice so... we'll soon find out how this is going to work, lol.
