Noob building a system...

Hi Everyone,

It's been 8 years since I sold my system along with the TransAm which was at that time, running crappy 2 12-W0's, with a Phoenix Gold ZX350 bridged as mono and some lower level Phoenix Gold (SX - I think?) running MB-Quart satellites etc. I had an Eclipse deck also; nice to see it's still a good buy for quality today.

I've decided to build a system and was looking for some advice.

My car today: 93' Dodge Stealth
Budget: $4000.00
Not wanting to have to upgrade the battery, or alternator but...
Will prefer "second hand/used" anything, to save loot.

Looking for a custom ported box with 2-12's
Daily driver SQ mostly - but can't I get great SQ from any SPL though?
Sub Brands: DD, Re, FI, Kicker?
Amp: mono D-class, and 4 channel, which brand do you recommend?
Satellite: not MB Quart - too shrill. Looking for softer, more natural sounding.
Deck: I think Eclipse but what do you think?

Any help is appreciated guys.

Best,
Thomas
