Its alright. i know you didnt mean to offend, but i thought for me needing hooked on phonics, i might need to know if im smart enough for it. My friend is in school for economics and says it is boring, but i always thought numbers and society were interesting.

when it comes to boring nothing beats mental rehab.

nothing wrong with hooked on phonics. you'd be surprized to see the outstanding capabilities of electronic translators and interpreters these days, you hardly even need to speak English, yet you can get whatever degree you want. Seen it with my own eyes and have done so myself. If you ever wonder how all the immigrants in your classes who seem to barely speak english do it, now you know. That and all the free on-campus writting work shops, etc where they correct your grammer and structure of whatever written work you might need to get graded.

Unless you are majoring in English Literature or Law or hardcore medical designation, I dont even think you need to be able to know english past grade 3 level.

Thats so true. I remember my intermediate microecon class second year, a girl, who I swear was like 28, asked what equivalent meant. I was shocked, but because she had a thick accent I forgave her, but then I didn't because she wasn't hot and began to laugh.

No offense to the immigrants, I just figured since intro econ was a prerequisite for the course she would have had some of the terminology down. She knew what economies of scale and what marginal meant, I just thought equivalent would have been an easier one.

Anyways, lets get back to jalat vs The Man aka Ed the guy who threatens high school kids lol
