i cant decide if i want to go ported or not, if i go ported, how much port area would i need for 2 ed 15k's in a 6 cu ft. box that is built for a cut thru install? if i knew how to upload images i could explain the idea i have on the port design

I generally try to stick around the drivers Sd when Im doing SPL cars. may not sound great but works well for SPL.

what is a "slot port"?

casue i ran the caculator on the page LBKC posted for a square port:

single 12
4 cubs
2.2"x13.5"x6.5"long
hit the slot port radio button and it gave me a negative number

whats up with that?

A "Slot port" is a port that is not a circle but rather a rectangle

I don't see this "Slot port ratio button" that you are talking about on the link provided by Loud Brown Kicker Colt

The purpose of that calculator was to find the required length of your port but you already have that. What did you get the negative number for?

What tuning frequency did you use?
