what is a "slot port"?

casue i ran the caculator on the page LBKC posted for a square port:

single 12
4 cubs
2.2"x13.5"x6.5"long
hit the slot port radio button and it gave me a negative number

whats up with that?

A "Slot port" is a port that is not a circle but rather a rectangle

I don't see this "Slot port ratio button" that you are talking about on the link provided by Loud Brown Kicker Colt

The purpose of that calculator was to find the required length of your port but you already have that. What did you get the negative number for?

What tuning frequency did you use?
