I just got home from work...I'm going to go digging to find out what the prob is...

One thing I do know is the fuse off the deck feeding the remote was popped...and stupid me went and hooked the remote trun on straight to battery...I honestly thought it was my Cash Convertors deck starting to go belly up...

I know now next time somethign like this happens to go digging for a problem before proceeding...

While I'm in there,I'll try to cut out a hunk of melted wire and get pics...

And as far as hack wiring...maybe a bit,but I always make sure my wiring is done in such a way as to do all I can to keep this from happening....

I think I know what happened....when I confirm it I'll post...
