one way to win or at least be competitive
if rob is helping you this year
rule #1 find out what class rob is in
rule#2 pick a different class
you wouldnt expect a fellow runner in a marathon
to slow down so you could catch up.
however i have competed alongside rob and he a great guy for all the help he has givin me.
but just like me he is there to win.
one thing you have to keep in mind is even if you only place 4th or 5th you still had fun, and dont look at it as a disapointment, rather than a learning curve.
it brings to mind a certain crx that handed rob his azz more than a few times.
rob kept at it until he beat him.
cant remember the last time i saw that crx since then, [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

I dont think I'll be running in any class he will...
With the setup I have in mind it will open me up for any of 5 possible classes...and only one of those would require any kind of modification....Not to say I would kickass in them all, but I could have some serious fun this season if all goes well.....
Now that I know pretty well what I have in mind,I just need to get a couple more small items(a small buss bar, etc)and a little cash for Home Depot to cut some wood for me and I'll be set to start building...
Hope it warms up soon...I think most of the work will be done outside...but we will see...
