Talking RE 12" sub suggestions

The plan is to install a single 12" RE sub powered with two Alpine MRD-M1005 at 2ohms coil config.

Just wanted some feedback on the XXX and SE versions. The price is the biggest drawback.

The vehicle is a 2005 Honda Accord 4 door and is a daily driver and would like to compete here and there. Looking for something from RE to burp at comps but sounds loud and clear.

Cheers

This is what was suggested to us and they seem to be the sub to buy for SPL/loud bass!

While RE certainly makes good subs I would say that there are a lot of others out there that could do the job you want

WOW, I have never been ahead of a fad before.. thanks Yuli!

I own an RE SX and am fairly pleased with the SQ and SPL, not the end all be all but more than competent. There is a lot of competition out there but my only real comment is to go with a quality product like RE.
