Lightbulb

Dave is indeed still in Burlington....in the last couple of years he has married, moved, changed jobs and has a kid on the way now....

As far as testing goes, I believe he still has his old setup, but finding time to do testing these days will probably be difficult.

I will be out in his neighbourhood today, I'll see if I can get an answer out of him.....

HTH

Dave would be a great impartial third party to get on board. Never personaly talk with him but the reputaion is very good.

As with pissing people off. When your moved because your seeing something great like your new product line waves will be made. Your not making the change because it's already happened. Your excitement is whats needed to move the world forward. It's up to us to either except it or get left behind. I'd say to the angry people get with the program or zip it!

Keep up your enthusiasm and push forward my friend. Play it loud or go home.

No problem. The truth is sometimes hard to swallow. To bad for them then. Just smile at the stupidity in this world and push forward. They will follow.

* SAZ-1500D at high car voltage. Sean swapped out a pair of Memphis 4kws for four of the SAZ-1500Ds... why? Because the four 1500Ds did more power in his setup.

* SAZ-3000D at high car voltage. Same install as the previous link for testing. Regular car voltage testing is pending since I have not been able to get in touch with Loyd Lowry to replicate the test setup for the 1500D testing.

If you have any questions about the setups just let me know.
Nice to see you on here Jacob. I would also like to see links to the discrediting information since all I have seen so far is fanbois who like to bash based on nothing...

Unhappy

Sorry about the long delay, but I finally managed to get ahold of DMac.....

Fortunately for him but unfortunately for us, he is way too busy between work and family to spend time testing equipment anymore.....

He did say he was going to try and get out to a few shows and comps around the GTA this summer, so if you happen to catch him at one, you could always try begging.....

There has to be someone who is willing to do a amplifier test. Jacob, can you provide one for testing?

Send me one and I can report actual power output and THD+N

The problem with the tests so far is the same as I mentioned in another recent thread.... apparent power was measured, not actual power.... and for most of us THD+N should mean something.....
