I was there also my first comp ever, I ended up with 2nd place in Class A- I hit a 136.1. I have a 12" L5 and a 300.1 Rockford amp. LOL i dont really know if that score is any good or not

I'm not arguing I just want to know how much my audiocontrol is off the TL so i can adjust my mic.

This setup is not in the car anymore its on our floor for sale we are currently looking for a vehicle to build a SS 3-4 competitor possably a SS 1-2 NW havent made up my mind yet I have a 91 corolla I can use but I dont think there would be enough room for what I want to do. I could run it in street A but there is no way the product we carry will be able to get to the 155db range.

well there is probably 5-6 more DB there if you went with a different box and
a bigger amp.

is the L5 a dual 4ohms or dual 2 ohms?

I used to run SS 1-2 nw with my blazer its a great class and the top scores around here are high 140's just into the 150's. My blazer was hitting 157 with a single MMATs quad coil 15 and 4 amps too bad I sold off all the equipment.

I want to be in a class I can place top 3 with retail bought equipment which is hard to do with p2's or MXs's. I'm not worried about the amps cause I can get Exile mono blocks up to 5000wrms at 1ohm.

yah so if you want top u need quite a few p2's or mxs if you plan on doing that coz your not going to hit high dbs in the street classes with those subs no matter how good you are with a box they is just to many people that know there stuff and can build the boxes for them too

I would say with a custom box and say double the wattage you could be around the 142-144ish range
