SA-18 Power Handling

I've heard sundown subs are underrated in the power department. The two sa-18's I have are 600w rms each and I was wondering how much power they will take for daily use. Thanks.

The motors on those subs have been tested and confirmed to handle 1200rms so long as it's clean. Daily should be around 1000 per sub. I've ran the 12's and the 15's and they are great!

the coils can handle 2x the rated rms all day long if the signal is clean

the only thing you have to worry about is the mechanical limitations
just be carefull with the bass boost and equalization
