Oh, just to be a smart *** I would point out that sound pressure or 'volume' doubles every 6db....
For most people percieved loudness doubles every 10db at moderate levels, but at extreme levels the 10db rule of thumb wouldn't apply anyway.....
I would have thought maltese new that, but now I see he's from Listowel....
