SPL amp for 8 fusions

Two part question - not SQ related

Two good friends of mine are thinking of getting back into SPL.

One wants to be loud with a single 12" and a strong amp...I suggested the TF One and amp(s)

The other has asked me to track down an amp(s) for him.

He has eight 8ohm 12" subs. They are going in a van and he would like to apply the correct amp(s)

if my calculations are correct Eights 8ohm 12s in parallel is 1ohm

Any suggestions....and used gear is

What are the appropriate budgets for the two systems? I am packaging up a 1500w rms mono Macrom M1A1500D with a DD3512 that would be a score for your one friend. For the other with the 8 12's, what sort of power and budget is he hoping to stick to?

The 8's are seeing 2500 rms from an older Planet Audio D Class amp.
He's looking for something around 600 to 800 watts per sub. Either two 3500watts or 7000 watts on a 12v system.

This friend is looking for a used sub and used amp. He may end up with the Planet Amp so he can either use a dual 2 ohm or dual 1ohm sub. I'll have to check.
