what diff does it make if it needs to be at 1 ohm or no? that's retarded.

u do realize the crown isnt the only 2 ohm amp, right?

 

the crown amps put out more power at 4ohm than they do at 2ohm fyi
I'll be running the A6000 at a 8ohm load..that brings the effective damping
facor up well over 3,000....I like TIGHT bass

You do know that beast can pull almost 800amps right? Not likely at 8 ohms, but when loaded down....

 

When the Crowns are "paralleled" to run at lower loads it does make less power. My amp makes approx. 2400 @ 4ohms, only 1800 @ 1 ohm.

And the owners manual I found for the A6000 doesn't list any specs.
