i like the OLD u.s amps and mmats hc line myself,im sure there is better out there but those amps are still highly respected to this day....

Easy Yuli lol.....I cant speak for the mmats equipment, but my usa2000x' were probally the best 2000watt amp i ever used. Compared to the newer usa MD 3D....still no comparison. Just dont try feeding them with 18v for too long, you will want to have marshmallows and a stick handy!

 

by who???????? i sure hope ur kidding,,,,,i would put my vlx-400 up againest any amp out there and for mmats,the d300hc is one the best amps ever maid with the mod of course....

 

u.s amps are legends,,period.......build qaulity is still highly respected to this day,they dont build any amps like they used too

 

vlx-400, you got to be joking me? half the amps out there now will do twice the power using half the amperage.

I did own a 2000x myself back in 1999, good amp but probably most inefficient amp ever made, along with vlx-400.

it WAS a sick amp once up on the time but saying you put it up against anything NOW is just silly.

why is mmats best amp ever made? it was a good amp for its time but technology has advanced alot since....

not to take away from those amps and what they ment for their time, but you put those in your car now you wont win anything, SPL wise.

 

hey man i live in guelph,,,lol so spl comps around here we do pretty well with those amps and still to this day i have never seen a amp built like a u.s amp..old or new...and the mmats d300hc for everyday driving i think is the best ever,,,i use a linedriver and a bass cube and it sounds great...i have owned saz1500d and 1000/1 from jl and the d300 kills them both in sound and qaulity....i dunno what it is i just think old amps on the new age subs sounds amazing...new u.s amps suck i think but the old ones are pretty intense lookin still to this day
