If your serious bout challenging todays powerhouse amps against a usamps anything, id say you need to put the rock pipe down. If you can get past ineficiency, the sound from us amps is fairly good and tight, but not good enough to brag about in todays market.

Mmats had one of the first powerful compact d-class amps made.....that being said, the wooden spoke wheel was a drastic revolutionary improvement over one made of stone yet you never see them...perhaps on a horse drawn buggy!
