u can burp a maximus no problem. its just two goliath in one box. i've seen it done with my own eyes. i dont like hifonics amps personally as they seem to be too picky.

once again, there isnt 'the best' amp for spl. get the biggest amp u can afford.

 

i personally have 2 earthquake d10's, but ive seen alot of ppl running american bass, and DD amps for spl.

 

Yes the Mattsonics amp is ajoke.

Biggest and best i personally think are the DD Z2 and the Cactus 7k, if your running 16+ volts.

 

Earthquake just came out with a 20,000 watt amp.Should check that BAD BOY out.

 

would that soundstream xxx 10000 do a true 10k rms? or it offshore crap that will actually do 10k max?

 

we were louder with the 4 powerbass 3k's vs the Eq 20k.

 

realm of excursion has a nice price on them too,2300 ish, so that would be about 3500 bucks or so to get it into canada taxes and shipping...?
