why doesn't anyone like treo much anymore? I LOVE that company. my treo csx's (which i blew in the begginning of the season) are still by FAR the loudest woofers i have ever used!!! I love treo... there a sexy woofer company...

I think either DD or RE is the way to go for subs, and basically get the highest line you can afford.
For amps I think earthquakes are the only ones within your price range that would be highly competitive, but you might want to consider memphis mojos, DEI 2400, crossfire 2000d, and a couple more I can't think of right now.

If you bumped that limit up to $2000 or so, you could get some of the loudest equipment out there, such as an EXT3000 and some DD9510's.

I bet if you threw 1000 dollars worth of equipment into Mike's Neon, it would still get damn loud. It's all in the box man...

At last year's finals, Mike hit over 152 with some D2s (one modded, one unmodded) and some beat up atomics, which couldn't have been too much over $1000.

Mike hit a 147.9 with a D2 and a paif of 10" thump woofers in that box so it can definately be done...don't even think thye blew up!

 

I love my Treo [img]smile.gif[/img] I have the TSX, it's good for a daily driver but not so good for competing since it only goes down to 1 ohm. And yes they are very sexy
