DON'T PROCRASTINATE! plan your system ahead of time and everytime you go to work on your car know what you're going to do and what you want to get done. set realistic goals that will be able to get finished and be prepared when doing an install. most jobs will take you a longer time then expected and you don't want to be stuck at the last minute trying to finish a box, or find out why an amp isn't working - as a least 1 or 2 people will do at EVERY show.
the season sneaks up on you fast and then before you know it you're in the middle of the season and haven't even done anything new to the setup!
(can anyone tell who's been procrastinating this year?!?...it's the weather that's stopping me i tell you...the weather...

I finished my box on a friday, when everything started going wrong, I had to tear out the head unit and try to find the problem. Got it fixed saturday and tuned it, then competed that sunday morning.
Lets just say it was very stressful.

Here is my tip for March: Stop procrastinating and start building boxs, lets say 30-40 of them, hey Curtis. I'am at 6 so far this year. LOL I will try to test each box at each show to determine which is the loudest.

There are guys who get the build totally done, test it, dont like the results and tear it apart and start all over again...SPL is really about trial and error...

All of my friends cars that I've built are totally awesome daily thumpers, but anything I try in my car for daily just doesn't cut it for me.
