I am not sure what to expect myself out of the 12 volt version but i was told it would do .125-.25 ohm easy and do that power between 9-13.5 volt depending on current available but we will see.

I can go to interstate and hook up to a pallet of 12v batteries(50 or so lol) to do the unlimited current test and I am currently looking for a 650 cubic inch battery to do the street tests.

desired load would depend if you have the 1 ohm or 2 ohm amp. Ive got a 12 volt 7kd that Ive modded but not sure which version it is at the moment.

The Powerbass amps are solid, we all saw that last year.

I will likely have RD 3250's or 5750's this year.

Alan just told me that this was one of the most if not the most powerful 12 v amp version they modified and I could run it at .125 ohm depending on rise. But for my testing I will stick to .35-.5

the only weird thing is the way you strap them you have to get the load really low because the load doubles if you strap at 0.5 each amp is seeing 1ohm so to run an amp at 0.125 if you use two amps you would need to strap at 0.0625 lol good luck getting that load

No, the other way around, you would have to put 2 dual 1 subs together into a .25 ohm final load then strap them on 2 amps.

Not with these amps... they double the impedance when strapped rather than cutting it in 1/2 like 'regular' amps

These amps strap in PARALLEL instead of SERIES like other amps, so the load doubles instead of being cut in half.
