Street C panel replacement/amp rack question

I've removed the plastic panel shown in bottom of picture with 3/4" piece of MDF
which I've mounted 8 Ultimate T3-500d amplifiers to.
Is this going to be legal for Street C db drag rules?

you need to cover it up with black carpet.

Wink

how thick was the original panel??
you'd be better off using plexiglass and backlighting it, and calling it a "custom" install..lol
unless it's an equivelent to stock replacement(thickness, finish, etc.) it's illegal....the custom install thing is a "grey area"

That's good. I'll throw some carpet on there. The amps are strapped in pairs so that's good as well.
See you all in Edmonton on Saturday!

Original panel is around 3" on the edges and 1" in the center. It doubles as a picnic table when turned upside down.
The two enclosures are going to take up all the rear hatch space so I'd hate to waste time with plexiglass just to cover it up with the enclosure.
