Kits aren't available but they can be rebuilt with a new voice coil and spiders.....

You sure about that, Haunz?
I had my old 18d2 reconed at a speaker repair shop here in Calgary 2 summers ago, and they had absolutely no problem whatsoever getting a recone from Cerwin Vega. It was a full recone kit including cone, spiders, coil etc.
I'm glad I had mine reconed when I did if recones are hard to find these days.

I HAVE THEM AND CAN GET THEM !!!!

i have the original recones for them even the spider on top with the 3 small 3/8" holes and the angled attachment point to the cone
i can get dual 2 and dual 4 ohm i believe

also i can recone it for you

or send pics of the 18" dual 4 ohm one i have that i just did

i can also get recones for any speaker you have/want

with exceptions on things like ppi flat piston kicker square cone stuff lie l5 or l7

and i an make custom stuff too

I've tried to find these kits before and never could... not from my recone part supplier (who told me they were sold out with no new stock comming in) or anyone else for that matter.....
