Hey, that D2 owns. It's a comp amp, not a daily amp, if you are using it as a daily amp, you are dumb. It's meant for burps, that's it. If you are using it daily, then you are getting audible distortion playing through your subs....

If anything if it's a comp amp, then why if you have a huge voltage drop it will fry.. sounds like something that would happen at more comps than daily driving..

 

ive been running 2 d2's at .5ohm daily on one 15 and had no problems, aslong as your not stupid with them you'll have no problems it when you do stupid **** then you start to have problems

 

I don't know why ppl have complaints with them, they are great amps, and unfortunatly I am going to have to sell my two D2's(under 2-3 hours of play on them) cuz I need some new subs [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

 

The d2's aren't that unreliable. You seem to see more failures, cause people push them VERY hard.

That being said, my Orion 2500d should be here this week, so I'll have to say that it'll be the biggest amp I've ever used(and I'm pretty sure it'll be reliable [img]smile.gif[/img] )
