Loud, no Alpine for sure. Want loud, single sub and a predictable outcome, Digital Designs.

Are the 9500's SQ subs that are beefy? Does it sound like a tight SPL sub, an SPL sub, or a tight SQ sub?

The 9500 series I have found to be quite nice to listen to at lower volume levels. At some point in the human threshold of hearing though we can no longer tell what sounds good from just plain loud.
