Sundown SAZ 1500D .5 ohm daily?

I'm hoping someone can tell me if this amp can safely do .5 ohms daily?
I've seen some crazy low impedences on Sundowns, but I'm unsure if they were daily run or just burping.
Any numbers at .5 ohms?

if you have the electrical to fully back it up, sure... but the gain you will get to go from 1 to 0,5 is marginal.

If it's bc your final load can only be 0.5 or 2 ohms, then get an amp that will do 2 ohms like the Clarion DPX11551

geez, at 1ohm in my van it killed the 140A alt... all 1/0, big3 and only .2v drop in the back compare to the batt in the front.

On bass track my voltage was dropping at 11v car on...

Killer yours was installed in what kind of vehicle?

I have a chance at a used one for about $300. Not thinking of it for any particular subs,(yet) i hope to my own SPL build going later this summer , since even my bro says no more .
G says -" I don't think the van can handle more!! " lmao
I said

Soo this could be the builds first piece . I'd like an amp that's strappable and can handle pretty well any impedence just for the options. Thought this may fit the bill at this price????

Mine was a 2006 mitsu lancer ralliart, 90amp alternator, 4 runs of 0 ga and 1 battery under hood! Ran fine!

wow, that van electrical charging system really suck then...

for 300$ used if it's the 2nd gen (fin on the inside part of the HS) and you know the history of the amp id say its a fair price.

I ended up with 2 first gens, loved em to death! But have since moved onto better things, I say $300 is a good price if it works!

I think all caravans have bad electrical systems, mine included. my lights used to all but shut off with my old set up, but my second battery helped out a lot.

to the OP, man I wish I knew someone in Meaford was interested in this stuff last summer when I was working there, would have made my time there a bit more interesting

Thanks for the advice guys.
Fresh -Working outside of town? Blowing up bro?
Things have picked up a bit since last year in Meaford. The son(i think) of the man that owned Hyatts in Owen Sound(its closed now) , just opened a shop here in Meaford.
I checked it out once, Memphis Audio and some other types like Pioneer etc.
Good guy, knows SPL from the little chat I had with him.
It's darn tough to meet car audio fans here, NOOO place to stop and play.. , Tim Hortons is a no-no..we just drive by each other with coffee...lol
But theres gotta be at least 10 cars here now with systems "worthy" of note. Should be a good summer.
