Recently I've been thinking of entering SPL competitions... Just wondering if you guys think this system would be able to do well in competition.

2 MTX MXA6001 Amps, each powering a MTX MXS1204 12" Sub, front has 2 Infinity 6000CS 6.5" in kick panels, going to add a 2 channel amp for those, for now they are running off the head unit... a JVC KD-SHX700.

Pushing around 144 dB....

Judging by the replies I'm getting, I'm assuming the reading I was told isn't true. If not good enough for SPL, how bout CRAZY daily??
=)

Well it's possible that the reading wasn't too far off. It really all depends on which meter it was on, and if it was calibrated or not.

The system will definitely be good enough for a loud daily driver.
