two kicker L5 8" subs and 850rms
yes a face off deck has been thought about.. but here is the thing.
think like a system stealing **** for a minute.
you see two cars. one looking stock on the inside and the other with after market deck, which car would have amps and subs for you to steal.????
for me i just want to keep it out of sight out of mind.
but we are way off topic now..
so what can i do to get every db out of my system (with out batterys changing the deck or a HO alt or changing the subs and amp that i have.

i dont think you are understanding that there is a differance between SPL and trying to get loud sound or music. What you are asking is not SPL, SPL is not possible with what you have. If you want to know how to get the most sound/bass out of what you have you should really make a post in the General section, you'd probably get a better response there.
I just want to make it clear since I think it is an important distinction.
A "cleaner" signal might increase spl up a bit on an SPL mike... but you ears could never tell
that you gain 0.5 DB or even 2 DB's for that matter... so for this guy it would make no difference.
However some decs have built in base attenuation as the volume gets turned up, so that could be a potential issue...

even if no one can really tell, by ear anyways.
the answer to the original delema is very, very simple since there is only one possible option - a good box design.
