street B. and your db level would be decided on your box design.. ported being of course louder.

Yes it is a street B setup. As for how loud? Trucks (especially regular cab) are very hard to make loud. My guess with a sealed box you would be around a 130-135. Remember 140 is 10 times as loud as 130, and 150 is 100 times as loud as 130.

I have the same subs, no longer in the car, but I never found them to be great for SPL. They are about equal to Alpine Type R, for referance sake.

really? I thought for every three db increase, its twice as loud... and thats Linear all through out the SPL range... so the 150 db is 100 times louder then 130? how does that work?

Can't remember who told me And to gain 3db you need to double your power, doesn't always mean twice as loud.

Ever 10 DB's sounds 2x as loud to the human ear although every 3 db's is 2x as loud scientifically. This is what I understand and I'm not sayign it's 100% fact

As for testing your gear, I'm from Grimsby and I have a new Termlab. PM me if you are interested in testing it out. If you don't know where grimsby is, it's about 20 min towards hamilton
