You don't see too many SQ cars doing over a 140. I would say that 140 is a excellent SPL score from a SQ designed system.
Everyone here always makes it sound so easy to hit big SPL #'s, with crap. I wonder how many of them have actually have tried to make this stuff loud??? For me anyway, it has been a battle for every tenth of a dB. That's just my experience, others must be much luckier. I just wonder why more Street competitors didn't hit over a 150 this year? Maybe it's not so easy after all, huh?

Clay I must be a lucky one? not being sarcastic. I hit a 149.1 with 1 D3 about 2600 rms and 2 12" american bass vfl with Apx motors in testing with Yuli and Crazy Curtis early last year, testing was about 1 hour to get that score. fooled around after didn't really see to much of a change final consistant score 149.7. I am and was doing 151 consistant with this equipement in street B setup WITH ONLY 1 D3 AMP late last year. 1 batt etc. I was using boxes I used the year earlier for my 10" kicker L7' and the only boxes I have used for competing. I could give an experienced SPLer my equipement to play with maybe hit a 152 with a D3 then give them 2 DD z1's to play with on my American Bass subs for a day and hit a 153 or 154 in testing.some people on this forum will never hit a 150 in this setup, some will, and some have. 150 to myself is not crazy loud in street B setup because it was relitively easy to hit because of the luck and some people I knew to help. too others its insane to hit 150 and a select few can hit 150 with a single woofer in street setup. it all depends on how much$$ or how much info you have in SPL and dedication to SPL or even SQ you have.
